Bridget Kusi Uko is an Occupational Therapy Practitioner who has a special interest in the use of Sound Therapy and Arts for healing. She is a Humanitarian, Social Entrepreneur and Activist.
Bridget’s training in Occupational Therapy was with the Federal School of Occupational Therapy (FSOT), Federal Neuro Psychiatry Hospital, Yaba. She completed her Bachelors in 2012 with Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. That same year, she got her approval to be registered with the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT). She also has expertise in Sensory Integration Strategies.
Her latest passion for Occupational Therapy is also the reason why she is consumed with turning her profession into a brand type for practical, logical, and strategic approaches to address issues in the area of health and well-being. She has an innate love for children and would go to great lengths to help any child with learning challenges to overcome barriers to learning and independent function.She is presently a Regional Advisor for a Youth based Civil Society Organization in Africa –PACSDA. She intends to continue making contributions towards helping people in community settings to live independent and functional lifestyles. Her interests include pediatrics and community based rehabilitation.
